The campsite is located between Berlin in the north and the magical Spreewald in the south, directly at the Wooden Lake which is the literal translation of „Hölzerner See“. It is situated in the beautiful Nature Reserve Dahme-Heideseen. Cyclists, kayakers and hiking enthusiasts love this unique countryside, with its speciose forests and spacious waterbodies. The campsite can also be easily reached by bus from Königs Wusterhausen. It is ideal for those seeking relaxation as well as for outdoor lovers.

The red wooden reception building can be seen from afar. There is also a small shop which sells everyday goods and ice cream from regional production as well as a snack bar that has a lot to offer from classic fries to authentic stone oven pizza.
The reception offers a lot of information, maps and brochures on destinations and events in the area.
